One of the most popular trends in the world in athletics. Both professional and college athletes and coaches often feature in the media. However, athletics comes with risks. There is always the chance of getting sports injuries and back pain. Whether training for your health or participating in a sport.

Sports like mixed martial arts, football, basketball, and rugby are the most popular in the United Kingdom. So what can you expect next time that you hit the court for the first time? 2. Shoulder Injuries

20% of all sports injuries include dislocation, sprains, and strains. It would be best if you treated shoulder injuries with rest, Ice, and Anti-inflammatory medication. Strength-building exercises can be done in the off-season to prevent shoulder injuries.

3. Hamstring Strain

A strain is an injury to a muscle or tendon. Hamstrings consist of three muscles that lie behind the knee. The hamstrings are “pulled” most often by athletes who overuse or stretch the muscle. Sometimes, pulled hamstrings can cause bruising. In addition, Hamstring strain can occur from activities such as hurdling and falling forward while water skiing.

Poor flexibility and warm-up can cause pulled muscles, particularly in the hamstring. You can prevent injury to your Hamstrings by learning to stop when tired. Because walking puts a lot of strain on the injured hamstring, it can take between 6 and 12 months to heal. It is also true for pulled muscles.

4. Sciatica

Sciatica is lower back pain that can reach the legs and affect athletes involved in running, cycling, tennis, golf, and other sports such as baseball, golf, tennis, and tennis. Athletes also often experience lower back pain from bulging discs or back spasms. Inadequate stretching causes sciatica. However, runners may also suffer if their legs are slightly longer than theirs. Back spasms and sciatica require immediate medical attention.

5. Elbow Injuries

Tennis elbow, also known as epicondylitis, is caused by repetitive use of the elbow. Repetitive use of the elbow can cause tiny tears in its ligaments. As a result, the elbow can feel pain from the inside or the outside, with the most common being the outside. This condition affects 30- to 60 year-olds.

Elbow Injuries can treat this condition with rest. For minor injuries, Rest, Ice, and Anti-Inflammatory Drugs can be helpful. For more severe cases, a doctor and a rest from the sport may be necessary. To prevent elbow injuries, elbow braces and forearm strengthening exercises are best.

6. Groin Pull

The groin is also known as the inner thigh muscle. The groin muscles are shaped like a fan and help to pull the legs together. Groin pulls are standard in sports that require you to move side-to-side, such as football, soccer, baseball, and hockey.

These injuries can cause bruising to the inside of your thigh. It can take up to two weeks for the wound to heal. You may consult a doctor if there is swelling around the groin. You should not return to your normal activities too quickly, as this could cause serious problems. Proper stretching can prevent groin pulls.

7. Concussion

Concussions refer to brain injuries that occur when the head strikes hard. Also, it can cause nausea, confusion, disorientation, and loss of consciousness. Concussions most often occur in athletes who engage in contact sports, such as boxing, football, wrestling, boxing, and baseball. Also at risk are skiers and gymnasts.

Resting is the best way to speed up concussion healing. It can take anywhere from two weeks to one month. Acetaminophen can reduce headaches from concussions. However, multiple concussions could cause permanent brain damage. Resuming contact sports too quickly after a concussion can cause the second-impact syndrome. It is a fatal condition.
